Pittsburgh’s Mini Climate Ride

A sustainability tour of Pittsburgh in support of the Climate Ride NYC – DC 2011

Come celebrate Earth Day and Pittsburgh’s thriving environmental community with a bike tour of the Steel City and its leading sustainability-focused nonprofits and businesses. Tour spots and sponsors include CCI, Bike PGH, Tree Pittsburgh, Grow Pittsburgh, East End Brewing Co, Transition PGH and more!

The ride will be an approximately 15-mile loop, starting and ending at OTB Bicycle Cafe in South Side. Though it may sound long, there will be plenty of stops along the way including snacks and (adult) beverages! This will be a friendly group ride so all riders welcome (though its Pittsburgh – expect at least one hill)

  • Meet at: OTB Bicycle Café, 2518 E Carson St, South Side
  • Sat. 3.23.11 @ 1:00 pm
  • Suggested donation (includes ride, snacks and After Party): $15 before April 16 – $20 on April 23rd

After Party at OTB Bicycle Cafe

5:00 p.m. – ‘til the keg finishes
Free for Mini-Climate Riders, $5 for everyone else – raffle tickets and drink specials on sale all nite!

Featuring food specials and a charity keg of GOOD beer from East End Brewing Co.

To sign up, send an email to —–@gmail.com with: name, email , # of riders, and preferred method of donation (Credit Card or Cash/Check) or just register in front of OTB at 1pm, the day of.

    NOTE FOR THE RIDE: We are planning to ride rain or shine – come on out and dress accordingly!

    If rain’s not your thing, fortunately you can still come drink with us and support the cause @ OTB Cafe after the ride.

    Expect some sweet raffle prizes from Bike PGH, Venture Outdoors, several local artists and more!
