As summer comes to an end with its promise of cooler weather, it’s time to turn to cycling.

Many of the new-to-two-wheels public are using September as a chance to get acquainted with bicycle riding. Others are experiencing bicycling as a way of transportation around campus or across town. The lucky are taking advantage of less-oppressive weather to get in longer rides.

Talks with folks like Scott Bricker and Louis Fineberg from Bike-PGH, Tom Demagall from Golden Triangle Bicycle Rental, Dave and Ken Scholl from Scholl’s Bicycles and Seth Grnot from Venture Outdoors helped piece together this look at bicycling.

Give it a read, or, better yet, go for a ride.
