Marty’s Market offers a $1.00 off coffee on Car Free Fridays
A bikepool is like a carpool; its a chance for you to bike to work while enjoying the fun and safety of riding in a group. As part of the 2013 Car Free Fridays effort some community members have been organizing an informal weekly morning bikepool. It starts in East Liberty and goes downtown, stopping to pick riders up at Friendship Park and Lawrenceville’s Doughboy Square. If you’re headed downtown on a Friday morning from an East End neighborhood, stop by any of the 3 locations at the times below and join the group for the ride.
Marty’s Market at 2301 Smallman Street is getting into the fun too. They welcome bike commuters to stop by their Coffee Bar for a specially priced coffee just for riding your bike. The coffee bar opens at 8:00 a.m. on Fridays. Ride a bike and pull up to get your discount!
