Want do you want to see in Pittsburgh’s next Police Chief?

Better collection of and accessibility to crash stats?

Training of officers on the laws related to cycling?

Enforcement of existing laws around aggressive driving, yielding to pedestrians, or the four foot passing law?

A system to help with bike theft recovery?

Making sure bike crashes are reported, even if no one goes to the hospital or is towed?

These are just a few ideas where a new police chief can exert influence to make the lives of people who bike and walk better.

Please attend one of the following meetings and weigh in on what you’d like to see.  The city also set up a website to take suggestions, found here: pittsburghpa.mindmixer.com
