Bicyclists (and motorists) should use alternate streets

We’ve received a heads up about Forbes Ave in Downtown: On November 10th, Forbes will be closed to vehicular through-traffic between Wood and Smithfield. Once closed, the closure will be in effect for the next 8-12 months.

So if you regularly ride through Downtown on Forbes Ave, take the next few days to explore new routes. Revisit our Pittsburgh Bike Map to scout a new path.

Pedestrians will still be able to use the sidewalks and access buildings and businesses.
