Ride and Ghost Bike Dedication for Taylor Lee Banks
Taylor Lee Banks, age 23, was hit and killed by a driver while biking home on Friday, October 31. Taylor was traveling along Route 51 in Aliquippa, Beaver County.
Members of the bike community, led by Ed Quigley, have organized a memorial bike ride in honor of Taylor Bikes Lee and ghost bike dedication beginning 2pm Sunday, November 16 in Monaca. The organizers are hoping for at least 50 riders to join in the event.

Ride details
The ride will be held on Sunday, November 16th, starting promptly at 2pm at 1729 Pennsylvania Ave Monaca PA 15061, under the water tower. (Restrooms at CoGos 1400 Penna Ave, and Yolanda’s Restaurant 1601 Penna Ave).
At 2:00 riders will head south on Route 51 as one group at 10mph with a van following the group.
At about 2:30 pm the ride will stop at 102 Baker St Aliquippa PA 15001 (off Route 51) to meet Taylor Lee Banks’ family and non-driving event participants. After dedicating a Ghost Bike and hearing from a few speakers the ride will resume northbound on route 51.
Riders will silently roll past location of the crash, near West Aliquippa bridge and then end in Monaca for a round trip of 10 miles.
