Host Your Own Game Show at OpenStreetsPGH

Show On The Road Host

You’re the next great game show host! We can tell.

Become a Host at OpenStreetsPGH with “Show on the Road”

OpenStreetsPGH creates a 3.5 mile corridor temporarily closed to vehicle traffic so that it’s open to people to walk, bike, dance, and play. Within the route there are 12 intersections where car traffic can cross the course. That’s where Show on the Road comes in.

Here’s How it works:

Show on the Road is a 3.5 mile game show anyone can participate in at OpenStreetsPGH on Sunday, June 28th. Five of the permeable intersections will each be staffed by an official Show on the Road Game Show Host and Scorekeeper.

Each intersection features a quick challenge – lightning round trivia, cup stacking, spelling bee – that can be performed by attendees while they wait at a traffic light.

People attending OpenStreetsPGH can participate in as many games as they want.

Visit the Pittsburgh Cares website to sign up. Scorekeepers and hosts will volunteer from 8:30am – 12:30pm on Sunday, June 28th and will need to participate in short volunteer training on the Friday or Saturday before (beers to follow). Group sign ups are welcome!

Show on the Road volunteers will receive vouchers for two tickets to see the Pittsburgh Pirates courtesy of Pittsburgh Cares.

Show on the Road at OpenStreetsPGH is produced by City of Play.
