July 29: Please join this public meeting to determine the future of Schenely Dr

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy is looking to redesign Schenley Dr, through Schenley Park, from the Visitor’s Center to Squirrel Hill. This is a very popular cycling route, so be sure to attend to find out what they are looking to do, and add your input.

From the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy:

The Schenley Park Green Street aims to holistically manage rainwater and redevelop a safe transportation corridor for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers for the improved long term health and function of the park. Because this park road has a wide range of user interests and high usage, any potential changes must balance the varied needs and uses.

Schenley Drive is an important piece of the stormwater management plan for the Panther Hollow Watershed. Your feedback, and the feedback of other park users, will help shape the plan for this area in the park.
