2-For-1 Special: Volunteer in the Lead Up to OpenStreetsPGH for Good Exercise & Good Karma
In just two weeks, OpenStreetsPGH will be back for the very last time this summer. We need your help on Thursday, July 26 to get ready!
Over the past two events OpenStreetsPGH has enabled more than 25,000 people of all ages, races, and abilities to experience miles of public streets free from motorized traffic. Each event takes more than 250 volunteers to pull off and with your help, we can do it one more time.
Sign Hanging
Luckily for us, preparing for the final OpenStreetsPGH of 2015 is a great excuse to take a walk in the city. We’ll be out hanging no parking signs on Thursday, July 23 at 6 PM. Meet up at the BikePGH office, grab a T-shirt, and we’ll head out for about 2 hours of walking and posting!
Door Tag Hanging
If you can’t make it to hang , we also need help hanging door tags around Lawrenceville to make sure all the residents are notified that OpenStreetsPGH is coming. You can stop by our office any time to grab some door tags, and we’ll let you know where to hang them.
A big thanks to all of those who have helped us put on these vibrant, family-friendly OpenStreetsPGH events! OpenStreetsPGH events would not be possible without the help of volunteers! If you have questions about volunteering for OpenStreetsPGH, email Bobby, BikePGH’s Event Specialist: bobby@bikepgh.org.
