This is good. This is really, really good

Every year we ask a different Pittsburgh artist or team of artists to design a poster for BikeFest, and every year we’re blown away by the results.

In 2015 Commonwealth Press (a local printshop) stepped up to the plate, cleverly decided to do a remake of Pittsburgh’s flag, and knocked it out of the park.

Pittsburgh, this is your flag.

And this is your flag on BikeFest.

Is that a tear coming from your eye? Did you weep with joy when you realized that there’s a continental crosswalk spanning the BikeFest coat of arms? We did.

And the u-lock and pedals? It’s so gosh darn beautiful.

Hand screen-printed posters ($40) and t-shirts ($20) will be available at the BikeFest party.
