Suddenly things are looking pretty busy in 2016! We’re incredibly excited for all of the big events we have lined up for this year. It’s a mix of new things like a BikePGH member camping trip and OpenStreetsPGH, and old favorites like PedalPGH and Bike to Work Day.

Women and Biking Forum: April 2
The Spinnsters present the third annual Women and Biking Forum. This event gathers 100+ women from across the region to come together for an day of conversation, fellowship, sharing, and of course, a bike ride!

Bike to Work Day: May 20
As the kickoff to our non-stop spring and summer events season, Bike to Work Day is tops. We join the rest of the country in celebrating those who bike to work while inviting others to give it a try. Plus, Bike to Work Day is a great day to be a member. All members who come out to our commuter cafés receive free swag bags!

OpenStreetsPGH: May 29, June 26, July 31
OpenStreetsPGH was a smashing hit in 2015 with over 40,000 people coming out to Bike, Walk, Run, and Dance in the streets. We have a few surprises in the works this year for 3 more fantastic events on the last Sunday of May, June, and July.

BikeFest: August 19-28
BikeFest, our annual celebration of all things pedal powered starts with our annual Party on Friday August 19th. Get your dancing shoes ready.

In its 23rd year, PedalPGH has a long way to go before we hit our Bicentennial, but that won’t stop us from pulling out all of the stops for this year’s ride coinciding with the City of Pittsburgh’s 200th anniversary of incorporation. Keep an eye out for more announcements this spring and registration going on sale May 1st 2016. BikePGH.org/pedalpgh

BikePGH’s City Cycling Classes
Why not get out there and ride? BikePGH’ s Confident City Cycling classes teach participants all the skills they need to feel comfortable and confident with navigating the city’s streets by bike.
