The BikePGH staff is biking and walking all 90 neighborhoods. Why?
We believe that everyone who lives in our city has the right to safely get to school, work, healthcare, and other activities no matter which Pittsburgh neighborhood they live in. This is our commitment to safe streets for all.
During our biking and walking journey, we will encounter conditions good and bad, likely accompanying emotions ranging from pure joy to true fear. These are the every-day experiences of Pittsburghers.
It’s up to all of us to hold decision makers accountable for making our bikeways and walkways safer for all. Donate today to BikePGH’s #BikeWalk90 campaign to show your commitment to safe streets.
Other ways to contribute to the cause:
Tweet at us using #bikewalk90 @bikepgh and @pgh311 featuring a trouble spot in your neighborhood or one that you pass through on your commute.
Examples:
A missing crosswalk
Faded street paint
Fallen street sign
Pothole
Tire-swallowing drainage grate
Crumbling sidewalks
