PedalPGH Workplace Challenge – Winners Revealed

And the winners of the 2017 PedalPGH Workplace Challenge ARE……

Each year BikePGH runs a friendly competition to see which of our 100 business members can rally the biggest office team to ride in UPMC Health Plan PedalPGH. All BikePGH Business Members receive unique discount codes for employees to use for them and their families. Each ticket purchased with the code increases their chance of winning.

First Prize Winner

This year we had some excellent prizes donated from some supportive partners. Our first prize is a brand new Scott Sub-20 commuter bike donated by Big Bank Bikes on Lebanon Rd. in West Mifflin. This will be the perfect bike to start commuting on – aluminum frame, upright riding position, fenders and sturdy wheels/tires to handle all those PGH Potholes.

The winner of our first prize is Antonia Scheidel from Duolingo! Congratulations to Antonia, and huge thanks to Big Bang Bikes for making this generous bike donation.

Second Prize Winner

The second prize goes to the workplace that creates the biggest team with the most registrations using their unique discount code. This winner will receive a $200 Southern Tier gift card to start your tab on an office happy hour. This is definitely a way to celebrate your victory in style!

Congratulations Highmark for rallying the biggest team – 24 riders! Thats a great turnout for such a bike friendly workplace. Thanks to Southern Tier Brewing for donating this prize.
