Choolaah Fundraiser for BikePGH

Eat Choolaah on March 23 & benefit BikePGH

Sounds like a pretty good deal to us!

On Friday, March 23rd, take a trip down to Choolaah’s new location at 6114 Center Ave, try all their delicious fast-casual Indian fair, and you’ll help send a healthy donation over to BikePGH! Make sure to show them this flyer (you can pull up this blog post on your phone), and 30% of sales will be donated to BikePGH. Don’t worry – there is plenty of bike parking at the corner of Center and Penn!

For some background: Choolaah is a new Indian BBQ concept started by CMU-grad/professor Raji Sankar and Randhir Sethi. They were joined by Jay Nesbitt (fun fact: Jay cofounded Wall-to-Wall Studios, and is partially responsible for creating BikePGH’s logo!) and together they’ve opened five restaurants; outside Cleveland, Sterling and Fairfax, VA, King of Prussia and now Pittsburgh, where they’re HQ’d.

They quite generously included BikePGH in their 30/30/30 Opening Promotion where they donate 30% of profits to 30 different non-profit organizations for the first 30 days of their opening.

It’s great to have a new neighbor in town that supports all the good work that is happening in this city – enjoy!
