WMNBikePGH monthly rides scheduled!
BikePGH’s Women and Biking Program is inclusive towards people who identify as Femme/Womxn/Gender Non-Conforming/Non-binary.
If you’re looking to go out for a fun group ride, check out this ride series! WMNBikePGH rides are free, casual, no-drop, and led by our volunteer ride leader Emily Stilwell. Participants range in riding skill level and come from various riding backgrounds, but everyone shares the love of riding and empowering spirit of WMNBikePGH group rides.
If you or anyone you know is interested in joining us, just show up! Questions regarding ride prep may be directed to our membership & outreach director, Jane Runyan, at jane@bikepgh.org.
What is a “no-drop” ride? That means no one is left behind–we wait at the top of hills and stick together as a group.
How should I prepare?
- Perform an ABC Quick Check on your bike to be sure it’s in working order. A-Air, B-Brakes, C-Chain, Quick Check-Quick releases on your wheels
- Wear a helmet
- Lights: have a front white and rear red light on your bike.
