August 1: Attend the Public Meeting for South Dallas Ave. Safety Improvements

What is the future of South Dallas Ave?

Join Councilperson Erika Strassburger and the City’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) at a meeting to discuss the future of South Dallas Avenue. They will be hosting a public meeting on Wednesday, August 1st at 6:00 p.m. at the Children’s Institute, 1405 Shady Ave. Improvements to the City-owned portion of S. Dallas Avenue (Forbes Avenue to Wilkins Avenue) and options for the PennDOT-owned portion of S. Dallas Avenue (Wilkins Avenue to Penn Avenue) will be discussed. Zone 4 Police will also be on-hand to discuss their ongoing enforcement in this corridor.

The goal of the meeting is to provide an update from the last community meeting which heard from residents that speeding and pedestrian safety are serious concerns for this corridor.
