The City wants to hear from you about how you envision getting around Pittsburgh in 50 years
In January 2019, the City’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure is continuing the planning and vision process for their 2070 Mobility Vision Plan. Last year, there were a series of meetings that happened around the City to discuss what visions, ideas, and dreams people have for moving people. Most of this vision planning is spurred by the expected population growth of the area and how we can look for innovative, practical, or already known solutions to best get people to where they need to go.
The City wants to hear from you about your ideas and dreams that can build a city that has options for everyone and benefits all those who live, work, visit, and come to this place. This vision plan is a place and space for you to contribute to the future of Pittsburgh.
This particular series of town halls will discuss the draft list of priority projects on four scales:
- Connecting the World
- Connecting the Region
- Connecting Centers
- Connecting Districts
Please join one of the following online sessions to hear updates and provide feedback on this vision plan. Some background information that might be helpful is a presentation from a stakeholders meeting that happened in early January 2020 and this slide deck which has more information about ideas and a framework for understanding this visioning plan.
