Take an 8-Day adventure on The Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Towpath
Join a week-long ride from Pittsburgh to DC and raise funds for Bike & Build’s mission to educate, serve, and advocate for affordable housing. Along the way, you’ll connect with a community of advocates and volunteer for affordable housing organizations.
Following the popular Great Allegheny Passage Trail (GAP) and the C&O Canal Towpath, PittDrift riders will travel largely via forested trails, pass through quaint towns, and visit historical sites like Harpers Ferry, WV. The eight day adventure includes six days on the bike, and two days off where the team will be volunteering with local affordable housing organizations.
