March 22 & 26: Join the Parks Conservancy to help plan the future of Mellon Park

NOTE: The original dates published in this article have changed. We have updated to reflect the new dates. If you previously registered for one of these events, you will need to re-register.

The Mellon Park Action Plan looks to create a unified vision for the park based on community and municipal priorities for park restoration, developments, and activity. This work is also focused on better connecting the two sections of park separated by Fifth Avenue.

The park is situated in such a way that it acts as an important biking and walking crossroads connecting East Liberty, Shadyside, Homewood, Point Breeze, and Larimer.

At this meeting, the Mellon Park Action Plan Design Team will be presenting the preferred plan for the park. Each session will include a presentation of the preferred plan and an opportunity to ask questions and give feedback.
