West End Trolley Trail Plans released

Check out the plans and provide comment

The West End Trolley Trail is a shared use trail that reimagines a vacated trolley line into a shared-use path. The trail will connect an existing section of trail along Crafton Boulevard with McCartney Street and add pavement markings to connect into the West End business district.

The City’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) has published the Engage Page for residents to review the plan and to add comment.

The Department of Mobility and Infrastructure (DOMI) and Council Woman Theresa Kail-Smith have worked with community groups in Crafton Heights, Ridgemont, Westwood, and West End to ensure that this public asset meets the vision of the residents of these neighborhoods.

It is so important that the project receives supportive feedback via Engage!  Please participate today!

Is there any updated information about this? I can not seem to find any new information. The Engage page no longer works.

Greetings! I also noticed that the Engage page seemed to be down, however it appears to be back up and running! This link will be the most up to-date spot for new information. You can also sign up for the West Pittsburgh Bike Ped mailing list here: http://eepurl.com/dGgJqD – Best, -Thom
