We hope to demystify your bicycle and empower you with the knowledge to keep your bike on the road and avoid costly repairs or dangerous situations.
Learn what makes your bike tick
Know Your Bike is a FREE basic maintenance class offered by BikePGH education in conjunction with Free Ride, Pittsburgh’s Do-It-Yourself Bicycle Cooperative. Every class will be two hours of instruction on basic bike anatomy, maintenance, and adjustments followed by a flat-fix lesson. We aim to tailor our instruction to the bike that you ride- so bring it in! Each class will cover the same material so no need to attend more than one class.
Price: Free!
Class is free of charge, but donations to BikePGH or Free Ride, Pittsburgh’s Do-It-Yourself Bicycle Cooperative, are both welcome. Repair stands and tools will be provided by Free Ride, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
