Free Know Your Bike Classes Return in February!

Learn the knowledge and skills to tackle basic bike maintenance

Have you ever wanted to know how to prevent a flat tire or thrown chain from ruining your ride? Want to learn the basic care and maintenance to keep your bike running smoothly day in and day out?  Or perhaps you want to know what tools you really need and how to use them. Know Your Bike is the class for you! We’ll help demystify your bicycle, empower you with the knowledge to keep your bike on the road, and avoid costly repairs or dangerous situations.

Learn what makes your bike tick

Know Your Bike is a FREE basic maintenance class offered by BikePGH education in conjunction with Free Ride, Pittsburgh’s Do-It-Yourself Bicycle Cooperative. Every class will be two hours of instruction on basic bike anatomy, maintenance, and adjustments followed by a fix-a-flat lesson. We tailor our instruction to the bike that you ride- so don’t forget to bring it with you! Each class will cover the same material, so no need to attend more than one class.

Price: Free!

Class is free of charge, but donations to BikePGH or Free Ride are both welcome. Repair stands and tools will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if preferred.
