Downtown to South Side was buzzing with activity, then we danced in the rain
This past Saturday, May 11th, OpenStreetsPGH presented by UPMC Health Plan kicked off the 2024 season! From Downtown to South Side, we had an incredible time with 100+ partnering businesses, organizations, and YOU!
Nothing can quite compare to the freeing feeling of car-free streets. Our May Route took participants on a 2-mile journey from Downtown Pittsburgh through Market Square, up Forbes Ave through the (newly renovated!) Armstrong Tunnel, and across the 10th St Bridge to the bustling business district on E. Carson St in South Side.
Here’s a quick recap + Check out the incredible photos by photographer Murphy Moschetta up on our Flickr page.
