Photos + Recap: PedalPGH 2026 Raised $225,000 for better biking and walking!

Thanks for being with us at this year’s sold out ride

On Sunday, August 30, visitors and Pittsburghers alike showed up and showed out for the 33rd Annual UPMC Health Plan PedalPGH. Thousands took to the streets, trails, bridges, and hills of our city for a day of biking, community, and celebration.

Thank you to everyone who rode, volunteered, cheered, sponsored, supported, and helped make this year’s PedalPGH possible!

Relive the fun with photos from our talented event photographers:

We’re Riding for a Better Pittsburgh

One of our favorite things about PedalPGH is getting to see so many people who care about our mission and want to experience the bike infrastructure that so many people have worked hard to bring to Pittsburgh.

For BikePGH, that connection is especially meaningful. PedalPGH raises critical funds for our work to make Pittsburgh safer and more accessible for people who bike and walk. Every registration, donation, and fundraiser helps support that work throughout the year.

We’re grateful to everyone who showed up and helped move the mission forward, especially to our Fundraiser Riders who went the extra mile!

Did you ride with us? Tell us your thoughts!

Help make PedalPGH even better by giving us your feedback: Your response enters you to win a prize pack of BikePGH goodies!

Survey data helps us continuously improve the rider and event experience at our annual fundraiser. We love hearing your honest thoughts, and we encourage you to share constructive, solution-focused ideas so we can actively build a better experience for everyone.

Responses are anonymous and will not be used to identify you personally. If you wish to be entered into the drawing, make sure to enter your phone number at the end of the survey.

Thank You to Our Sponsors + Partners

A huge thank you to UPMC Health Plan, our presenting sponsor, and to all of our 2026 sponsors. Your support helps us put on an event that brings thousands of people together while supporting BikePGH’s advocacy, education, and community programs.

Thank you also to our Route Sponsors for the10-mile Outside+ Northside Loop, the 25-mile Steel City Media Tour, and the 53-mile U.S. Steel Endurance Challenge.

Additional support is also provided by VisitPittsburgh, Eaton Corp, SVN, Obvio, Make Voters the Donors, Gelman & Reisman, Peak1 Sports, Brandywine Communities, Giant Eagle, Alcosan, and Kate’s Real Food.

We’re also grateful to the local businesses and organizations that helped make the Finish Line Festival such a fun place to land after a ride, and for the food and drinks from Vital Sips, ’77 Club pizza , Nicky’s Hot Dogs, All Belgium Waffles, and Bistro To Go.

Thank you to Allegheny City Brewing and Two Frays Brewery for keeping the beer garden stocked, and to all of our food vendors, activity partners, and community organizations who spent their Sunday with us.

The Kids Zone was also a hit with all ages, with activities from the City of Pittsburgh Park Rangers, YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh, Moonshot Museum, and Kamin Science Center keeping our youngest riders busy.

We Couldn’t Do It Without Our Staff + Volunteers

It takes a lot of people to get thousands of cyclists safely around Pittsburgh.

Thank you to every staff person and volunteer who helped with route marking, packet pickup, rider support, rest stops, route support, the Finish Line Festival, SAG support, and everything in between. You were out there early, stayed late, answered a million questions, and kept the day moving.

We appreciate you more than we can even put in words.

Keep Riding With Us

The work continues! BikePGH will keep advocating for safer bike infrastructure, better connections between neighborhoods, more accessible streets, and a Pittsburgh where people can comfortably choose to bike or walk to where they need to go.

If you rode PedalPGH this year, you’ve already played a part in that work. And remember, we’re still riding, talking to our neighbors, and showing up for safer streets all year long.

Thank you for making the 33rd Annual UPMC Health Plan PedalPGH such a great day.
