BikePGH’s Pittsburgh Bike Map wins Print Magazine’s Annual Design Award

print magazine regional design annualPrint Magazine, self-described as “America’s Graphic Design Magazine,” awarded BikePGH’s Pittsburgh Bike Map with their annual design award. Print, founded in 1940, is a bi-monthly magazine about visual culture and design.

Every December “since 1981, PRINT’S Regional Design Annual has been the only comprehensive survey of outstanding design throughout the United States,” according to the publishers. It’s considered a “must-read” in order to catch a glimpse of the current shape of creative design across the United States.

The bike map was chosen among best of the mid-Atlantic region. We’re featured on page 215 for those who have a copy of the issue.

Thanks again to East Liberty’s DeepLocal, illustrator Glen Johnson, and the Heinz Endowments for helping us create such a great map.
