Volunteer for Pittsburgh’s first-ever citywide bike and pedestrian count
The City of Pittsburgh will be leading bike and pedestrian counts on May 7th and 9th and they need your help! If you can spare a couple of hours in the morning or evening, sign up to take part in the volunteer orientation and the counts.
DETAILS
Mandatory Training Session: Wednesday, May 6, 6 – 7 pm, Downtown Pittsburgh
Timeslot A: Thursday, May 7, 7 – 9 am
Timeslot B: Thursday, May 7, 4 – 6 pm
Timeslot C: Saturday, May 9, 10 am – 12 pm
Your participation will allow the city to begin to have a data-driven bicycle and pedestrian program. With better data city officials will be able to make infrastructure decisions based on current usage data rather than the only data we currently have — crash data. Many volunteers are needed so tell your friends.
