Bike share is launching May 31

Pittsburgh Bike Share has announced the public launch of Healthy Ride and subsequent launch event for Sunday, May 31st at OpenStreetsPGH!

Join Pittsburgh Bike Share’s mass ride to celebrate the launch — they want to get as many cyclists as possible to participate! Here are the two ways you can be a part of the launch:

• Be one of the 50+ cyclists on Healthy Ride bikes, OR
• Ride your own bicycle along with the Healthy Ride bikes

The launch event/mass ride will begin at approximately 8:15am in Market Square immediately following the opening remarks from Rich Fitzgerald and other speakers. Speakers will begin at 8am. If you do plan on attending, we would appreciate all participating riders arrive at 7:30am so that we can position everyone and make sure everything is set to go. The ride will end at Pittsburgh Bike Share’s new office space at 3328 Penn Ave!
