A little gratitude goes a long way

A ton of work goes into getting infrastructure improvements in place, and this work happens on many levels. Let’s be sure to keep the momentum going by showing gratitude to elected officials who work to make it happen!

The projects listed below include projects completed in 2022 under the City’s Complete Streets program and the Neighborhood Traffic Calming program. You can use the below sample text as a guide to write your own Thank You, or simply copy and paste the text and click the button to the feedback form to submit your comment!

Projects across the city & responding to 311 requests

Hello Mayor Gainey and the PGH311 team, thank you for hearing my concerns to help keep pedestrians and cyclists safe on our streets. Your consideration and responsiveness is crucial to improving safety and accessibility for all road users, and for keeping our city equitable and livable. We all deserve the fundamental right to safety as we get from point A to point B without requiring a car in our daily lives. Your hard work to help maintain this safety is appreciated.”

Tis the season

Tis the season of showing gratitude, and while there is still a lot of work to be done to improve the safety and accessibility of our streets, the progress we’ve made thus far should not go without recognition! We sincerely thank the elected officials who have worked with us to make these important infrastructure improvements happen in 2022, and we look forward to another year of putting people first as we continue to advocate for safer streets for all road users.
