This is a fundraiser to help keep progress going
We’re closing out National Bike Month with a bike gathering and picnic to celebrate the progress we’ve made together.
For over 20 years, BikePGH and supporters have been advocating for a safe and connected bike network. As the gaps fill in, it’s time to see how it all connects and celebrate the community that keeps pushing Pittsburgh toward safer, more joyful streets.
As for the bike ride, this marshaled loop will roll through key infrastructure wins such as:
- Forbes + Braddock upgraded intersection to get in & out of the Forbes Ave Protected Bike Lanes
- Forbes Ave Protected Bike Lanes restoring a critical connection for east of Frick Park
- The protected bike lanes of the Penn Circle Conversion Project
- Bloomfield/Friendship Neighborway
- Penn Ave Bike Lane (22nd to 31st) in the Strip District
- Gold Way / Melwood Neighborway connecting North Oakland to Polish Hill
- Ellsworth Neighborway
- Beechwood Bike Lane
Check out more of the progress we’ve made to connect our bike network on our Infrastructure Updates page:
Change happens when we ride together.
