Here are the blogs that defined this year’s ride: the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
It was a year of safer infrastructure, traffic calming, community connection, breaking barriers, and rolling together. And yet, our work goes beyond the victories; it’s about balancing the joy of riding with the hard realities we face as we work to make Pittsburgh safer for all who walk, bike, and roll.
Taking a look at our top blog pages of the year you’ll notice our stories have navigated the emotional spectrum — from uplifting narratives on community and celebration to somber reflection on traffic fatalities as we advocate for life-saving safety improvements on our streets. Whether it’s celebrating a successful event or mourning a tragic loss, our community is one of resilience, empathy, and a deep commitment to progress.

But there’s one webpage to rule them all
Aside from blogs, our most viewed webpage is, of course, the Pittsburgh Bike Map webpage with 20,356 views in just 366 days (2024 was a leap year). That’s ~56 digital bike map views per day!
And that’s no surprise here, as it’s our most popular and longest-running free resource. Stay tuned for this year when we release our 10th version of the Pittsburgh Bike Map with a ton of updated infrastructure we’ve gotten over the last few years!!
