A day of collaboration and action as leaders and advocates unite for a future with zero traffic fatalities
Between the City’s historic Vision Zero commitment in 2024, and SPC and the County’s push for a Vision Zero Action Plan, the time is right for regional leaders, agencies, planners, engineers and advocates to better collaborate on how we are actually going to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries in our region.
In a partnership between BikePGH and the City of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Vision Zero Summit at the University of Pittsburgh will bring together these transportation minds for a day of building momentum toward this ambitious goal.
Learn + share + network
Attendees can expect a day of sessions, speakers, and discussions about eliminating traffic fatalities and serious injuries – a reachable goal if we direct our energy and resources appropriately.
The summit will also provide ample opportunities for networking with the hope of kickstarting a greater level of collaboration across sectors to save lives on our streets and roadways.
It takes a village to shift culture, and no singular department or person can expect to eliminate traffic fatalities on their own. So we are assembling representatives from across disciplines to see how they can take action toward this goal within their own work and lives.
More details will be released as we get closer to the date, but be sure to save Friday, October 17 on your calendar and check back on our website.
