Vision Zero is the concept that all traffic crashes are preventable, and that a we can collectively work to achieve zero traffic deaths within a certain timeframe.
Complete Streets
We’ve been working with the City of Pittsburgh and other municipalities in the region to pass Complete Streets Policies in order to institutionalize biking and walking in decision-making.

Better Biking and Walking
We’ve helped bring the latest in bikeway design to Pittsburgh, and are spearheading the vision toward a connected bikeway network and safe pedestrian infrastructure throughout the City.
Bike Parking
We worked with the City of Pittsburgh to pass a progressive “bike parking ordinance,” that not only requires bike parking in new and changed-use buildings, but allows developers to swap out car parking spaces for more bike parking. Our work has led to thousands of new bike parking spaces within the City of Pittsburgh.
Transit Policy
Transportation is complex, and very few people only use one form of it. Being able to seamlessly transition between a bicycle and our transit service makes for a more bike and transit friendly city. We’ve been working with the Port Authority to make biking more friendly both on transit, and on the road.
