We’re hiring! Join BikePGH’s Part-Time Seasonal Events Team!

The 2026 event season is coming and we need YOU!
BikePGH is looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our Part-time Seasonal Events Team for summer 2026 to assist in the execution of our OpenStreetsPGH event series and PedalPGH. Roles available are Production Team Staff, Safety Team Staff, and Route Marking Staff.
What is OpenStreetsPGH?
OpenStreetsPGH is a free community event organized by BikePGH that temporarily opens miles of city streets for neighbors to walk, run, bike, and explore spaces that would otherwise be used by motor vehicles. OpenStreetsPGH allows us to rethink our environment and see what neighborhoods could look like if more space was dedicated to people focused transportation
What is PedalPGH?
Since 1994, PedalPGH has grown to become Pennsylvania’s largest one-day bike ride and BikePGH’s largest fundraiser. It’s a casual, fun ride that welcomes people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels to explore the neighborhoods, parks, bridges, and geography that make the “Steel City” so unique. Proceeds fund BikePGH to support our work of making Pittsburgh safe and accessible for everyone to bike and walk.
ABOUT BIKEPGH
BikePGH is a 501c3 nonprofit organization transforming our streets to make biking and walking commonplace for all Pittsburghers in order to improve our quality of life and reduce the harmful effects of car dependence in our communities. We envision a Pittsburgh where people can thrive without needing to own a car – making Pittsburgh a world class leader in clean, affordable, and convenient transportation.
