2013 riding checklist is not complete without having your bike blessed at Biketism!
Helmet: CHECK.
Pantleg tied: CHECK.
Spritz of communal water from a Unitarian minister: CHECK!
Your checklist for the upcoming biking season isn’t complete without stopping by Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church for the second annual Blessing of the Bikes (affectionately known as Biketism) on April 21st. The church will be holding their Earth Day service at 10:30am, and all are welcome to attend. Someone will stand guard over your trike, bike, or uni if you would like to hang out for the whole shabang. Otherwise, the actual blessing part of the service will be at 11:15am.
Allegheny Unitarian Universalist Church is located at 416 W North Ave. in the North Side, just across from the Aviary.
