Hone Your Advocacy Skills by Participating in Our 2021 Virtual Workshop Series

While we have watched the way our world has changed over the past year, what hasn’t changed are the skills and methods of grassroots advocacy. Whether you  are brand new to the bike/ped advocacy world or you’ve been part of the process for years, we want to welcome you to take part in our 2021 Virtual Advocacy Workshop Series.

Through these workshops, we will help you and your committees develop the skills, knowledge, and expertise to be proficient advocates. We will take a look at policy, membership, coalition building, event planning, and much more. No previous experience is necessary to attend these workshops and all are welcome! We strongly encourage you to read our Toolkit for Starting and Sustaining a Neighborhood Bike/Ped Committee to familiarize yourself which can be found on our bike/ped committee webpage.

The workshops will begin on February 10, and will run until the end of the year. Check this post for updated links, dates, and times of workshops. Also join our Bike/Ped Advocacy Facebook Group to join the conversation about biking and walking advocacy in Pittsburgh!
