Parents share tips for riding with kids during the BikePGH Family Guide launch and Q&A Webinar

This year we launched our first-ever Bike Pittsburgh Family Guide! To celebrate the launch, we hosted a free virtual Q&A session with an expert panel of parents.

Our virtual event to launch this new resource included an informative discussion with our panel parents featuring: Courtney Ehrlichman from Panasonic Smart Mobility and Roadbotics, Tom Demagall from Golden Triangle Bike, and Elizabeth Beech from Thick Bikes.

BikePGH’s Family Guide covers a wide range of topics in hopes to answer some of those tough questions that families that are new to biking may run into.

  • Choosing Your Family Bike
  • Biking Best Practices
  • Biking with Babies
  • Biking with Toddlers (1-3 years old)
  • Biking with Preschoolers (3-5 years old)
  • Teaching Your Child to Ride & Riding with Children
  • Riding to School
  • Resources for Families
