Break barriers with us at the Women & Non-Binary Bike Summit Saturday October 15th

Registration is Open for the WMNBikePGH Summit, Presented by Dollar Bank

Calling all women and non-binary cycling friends! Join WMNBikePGH at the 9th Annual Women & Non-Binary Bike Summit, taking place at East End Cooperative Ministry on Saturday October 15th, 2022.

The WMNBikePGH Summit is a fun, one-day event featuring a mix of educational and interactive workshops centered on bicycle adventures, bike maintenance, and skill building activities to boost cyclists’ confidence and encourage women and non-binary representation in cycling.

Our goal is to empower trans and cis women, non-binary, genderqueer, agender and gender variant people of all ages and abilities to feel comfortable and confident riding bikes around the city. Together, we can learn from and uplift each other to build a more connected and inclusive cycling community.

Meet Marley Blonsky, swap gear, and learn a new skill:

  • This year’s Summit features a morning yoga wake up session with Open Up, breakfast and lunch included, a community bike clothing and gear swap, pay-what-you-wish registration, and a choose your adventure afternoon where participants can either dive into an intensive interactive session or choose two workshops of interest.
  • We are also thrilled to host a Keynote Speech from inclusive cycling advocate Marley Blonsky, in addition to a smaller group chat with Marley later in the afternoon.
  • After the summit, participants will have the option to take a group ride to Coven Brewery and cap off the day with refreshments and dinner from their onsite food truck.

We’re also returning to in-person programming, with the keynote panel and morning workshops held at the fully accessible venue, East End Cooperative Ministry. Other workshops will be taking place nearby at our partner venues The Wheel Mill and Free Ride. Please note: If you do sign up for an off-site activity, be sure to have a way to get yourself there! If you Sign Up for “Know Your Bike at Free Ride,” we recommend bringing whatever bike you typically ride!

The day is full of programming that accommodates everyone, no matter where in their cycling journey they may be. We are also excited to bring back pay-what-you-wish registration!

Registration includes:

  • Gender Matters Infographic
