Join us for OpenStreetsPGH on July 26 from 10am to 2pm as we celebrate the unique character of the Strip District and Lawrenceville! Discover a new business, eat at a local restaurant, and ride along with thousands of other event attendees.
This list is not comprehensive, but we did our best to highlight many awesome businesses! If you have a good spot on the July OpenStreetsPGH route in mind that’s missing from this list, be sure to message us! See you on Sunday, July 27 in Lawrenceville + The Strip!

- Allegheny Wine Mixer – 5326 Butler St
This cozy wine bar is one of the best low-key spots in the city – grab a funky wine, a cheesy toastie, and a crème brûlée!
- Bar Marco – 2216 Penn Ave
With a $45 prix fixe and unique cocktails that can’t be beat, Bar Marco is the perfect place to plan your next date night. Pro tip: order the bonus pasta!
- Brooklyn Bagel – 3915 Butler St
A lovely cafe to grab a bagel and coffee, and lock in for some solid work hours.
- Cinderlands Warehouse – 2601 Smallman St
A craft brewery and scratch kitchen all rolled into one. Check out their first floor for games like bocce ball and shuffleboard, or relax on their covered patio upstairs!
- Colangelo’s Pizza – 207 21st St
This Italian bakery features fresh and delicious pasta, pizza, paninis, and pastries.
- Colombino Coffee – 3817 Butler St
Check out this Colombian food truck for lattes and hot arepas.
- Coop De Ville – 2305 Smallman St
Serving up crispy southern fried chicken and retro arcade games, this vibrant Strip District spot is a great place to grab a bite and play.
- De Fer Coffee & Tea – 2002 Smallman St
Come for the inventive coffee, cocktails, and baked goods…. and stay for the tinned fish! This unique cafe has a bit of something for everyone.
- DiAnoia’s Eatery – 2549 Penn Ave
Craving pasta? This is the place for you! DiAnoia’s serves up hearty Italian dishes, refreshing cocktails, and an incredible selection of desserts.
- Driftwood Oven – 3615 Butler St
Stop by this incredible sourdough pizza spot for some of the best pizza and seasonal bites in the Burgh!
- Espresso a Mano – 3623 Butler St
Serving delicious coffee and pastries, this espresso bar and coffee shop is filled with art and community. Show your BikePGH Member card for $1 off all bulk coffee!
- Field Day – 3706 Butler St
A bustling hub for coworking, food, drinks, and events in the heart of Lawrenceville… with a great view from the rooftop bar!
- Inkwell Coffee Shop – 4419 Butler St
A BikePGH staff favorite, this lovely cafe serves up classic coffee and teas, as well as unique seasonal offerings!
- La Gourmandine – 4605 Butler St
For over a decade, La Gourmandine has been serving delicious baked goods and decadent pastries, come check them out in their original Lawrenceville location.
- Lola’s Eatery – 3337 Penn Ave
A Filipino-inspired brunch spot, Lola’s has incredible bagels, donuts, and lumpia! My favorite? The ube cinnamon roll. And speaking of ube…
- UBE FEST – Check out Ube Fest during OpenStreetsPGH! Ube Fest is a celebration of Filipino culture, art, and food.
- Lucy’s Banh Mi – 2216 Penn Ave
A hotspot for Vietnamese food in Pittsburgh – Lucy vacations back home in Vietnam during the winter, but you can catch her slinging sammies in the Strip all summer long!
- Maggie’s Farm Strip District Barrelhouse – 3212a Smallman St
Although Maggie’s has expanded their operations out to Upper St Clair, their Barrelhouse and Cocktail Lounge is still going strong! Head here for creative tiki cocktails, and the best falernum money can buy.
- Mediterra Cafe – 5202 Butler St
Another BikePGH staff favorite, this cafe and bakery is a great spot to stop if you’re in need of breakfast, a pastry, or a fantastic loaf of bread.
- Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream – 3803 Butler St
Millie’s is an incredible supporter of our mission – and the ice cream doesn’t hurt either! Come here when you’re needing a delicious sweet treat, with vegan and gluten free options galore.
- Morcilla – 3519 Butler St
This awarded tapas spot features incredible bites; my favorites are their jamón serrano, fried artichokes, and gildas. Wash it all down with a glass of their refreshing sangria!
- Novaria Coffee Co – 1812 Penn Ave
The only Syrian cafe in Pittsburgh, this third wave coffee shop has some of the friendliest staff and the warmest, richest cardamom coffee around.
- Pane è Pronto – 2627 Penn Ave
From the owners of DiAnoia’s, this hole-in-the-wall bakery has incredibly fresh bread, pastries, and sandwiches. Try the cacio e pepe focaccia!
- Piccolo Forno – 3801 Butler St
Crafting authentic Tuscan comfort food and fresh handmade pastas, this cozy Lawrenceville favorite is a staple for a relaxed BYOB night out.
- Pita My Shawarma – 3716 Butler St
With fresh, juicy chicken shawarma, crispy falafel, and herby zaatar fries, check out this Lebanese street food spot is great any time of day. Show your BikePGH membership card to get a free side of fries with your order :)
- Playa Bowl – 1707 Smallman Street
Serving up refreshing acai bowls and tropical smoothies, this bright Strip District spot is like a mini beach vacation.
- Pusadee’s Garden – 5319 Butler St
Come for the mind-blowing Thai dishes and stay for the gorgeous garden patio, this is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Bar walkups are welcome, but it’s wise for diners to make a reservation for peak hours.
- Salem Market and Grill – 2923 Penn Ave
Whether you’re ordering a hot kabab to-go, checking out their incredible selection of Middle Eastern groceries, or looking to cater your next event, Salem’s has it all!
- The Butterword Bake Consortium – 5222 Butler St
Looking for your next sober hangout spot? This is it! While Butterwood serves incredible cakes all day long, their cozy cafe stays open until 11pm to satisfy all of your late-night cake cravings. Plus, they have great vegan options.
- The Nook – 3811 Butler St
Specializing in creative brunch plates like BBQ pulled pork waffles and classic breakfast combos, this spot is the perfect place to start your weekend morning.
- Wholey’s – 1711 Penn Ave
A fish market, a grocery store, a hot food counter, and Andy’s Sushi Bar all make Wholey’s one of the most popular destinations in the Strip.

- Arsenal Park – 276 39th St
Featuring historic Civil War grounds, public tennis courts, and lush green lawns, this relaxed Lawrenceville park is the perfect spot for a casual afternoon outdoors.
- Attack Theatre – 212 45th St
Since 1994, Attack Theatre has created bold, immersive experiences by weaving together modern dance, music, and visual artistry. If you’re looking for a fun way to move your body, come check out one of their classes!
- Iron City Boulders – 143 51st St

- The Clemente Museum – 3339 Penn Ave
The Clemente Museum honors Roberto Clemente, a Puerto Rican Pirates player who advocated for racial equity and the dignity of underserved communities both on and off the field. The museum is hosting Open House events on July 18th and 19th, plan your visit here!
- Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre – 2900 Liberty Ave
PBT has been dedicated to celebrating the art of ballet in Pittsburgh since 1969. Check out their upcoming performance of Dracula the last weekend in October.
- Pittsburgh Opera – 2425 Liberty Ave
The Pittsburgh Opera is a pinnacle of musical art in Pittsburgh, showcasing incredible singers and dramatic performances. Their next featured opera, La Bohème, runs in October.

I live along the route. What do I need to know?
Streets will begin closing Sunday, June 28 at 8AM. “No Parking” signs will be placed along the route and select side streets starting three days in advance of the event, alerting drivers that parking is not permitted along the event route and select side streets from 3 AM until 3 PM on Sunday, June 28th. All parked cars left on the route in this timeframe will be towed.
