Join us for OpenStreetsPGH on July 26 from 10am to 2pm as we celebrate the unique character of the Strip District and Lawrenceville! Discover a new business, eat at a local restaurant, and ride along with thousands of other event attendees.

This list is not comprehensive, but we did our best to highlight many awesome businesses! If you have a good spot on the July OpenStreetsPGH route in mind that’s missing from this list, be sure to message us! See you on Sunday, July 27 in Lawrenceville + The Strip! 

Food & Beverage

This cozy wine bar is one of the best low-key spots in the city – grab a funky wine, a cheesy toastie, and a crème brûlée!

With a $45 prix fixe and unique cocktails that can’t be beat, Bar Marco is the perfect place to plan your next date night. Pro tip: order the bonus pasta!

A lovely cafe to grab a bagel and coffee, and lock in for some solid work hours.

A craft brewery and scratch kitchen all rolled into one. Check out their first floor for games like bocce ball and shuffleboard, or relax on their covered patio upstairs!

Come for the inventive coffee, cocktails, and baked goods…. and stay for the tinned fish! This unique cafe has a bit of something for everyone.

Craving pasta? This is the place for you! DiAnoia’s serves up hearty Italian dishes, refreshing cocktails, and an incredible selection of desserts.

Stop by this incredible sourdough pizza spot for some of the best pizza and seasonal bites in the Burgh!

A bustling hub for coworking, food, drinks, and events in the heart of Lawrenceville… with a great view from the rooftop bar! 

A BikePGH staff favorite, this lovely cafe serves up classic coffee and teas, as well as unique seasonal offerings!

For over a decade, La Gourmandine has been serving delicious baked goods and decadent pastries, come check them out in their original Lawrenceville location.

A Filipino-inspired brunch spot, Lola’s has incredible bagels, donuts, and lumpia! My favorite? The ube cinnamon roll. And speaking of ube…

  • Lucy’s Banh Mi  – 2216 Penn Ave

A hotspot for Vietnamese food in Pittsburgh – Lucy vacations back home in Vietnam during the winter, but you can catch her slinging sammies in the Strip all summer long!

Although Maggie’s has expanded their operations out to Upper St Clair, their Barrelhouse and Cocktail Lounge is still going strong! Head here for creative tiki cocktails, and the best falernum money can buy.

Another BikePGH staff favorite, this cafe and bakery is a great spot to stop if you’re in need of breakfast, a pastry, or a fantastic loaf of bread.

Millie’s is an incredible supporter of our mission – and the ice cream doesn’t hurt either! Come here when you’re needing a delicious sweet treat, with vegan and gluten free options galore.

This awarded tapas spot features incredible bites; my favorites are their jamón serrano, fried artichokes, and gildas. Wash it all down with a glass of their refreshing sangria!

The only Syrian cafe in Pittsburgh, this third wave coffee shop has some of the friendliest staff and the warmest, richest cardamom coffee around. 

From the owners of DiAnoia’s, this hole-in-the-wall bakery has incredibly fresh bread, pastries, and sandwiches. Try the cacio e pepe focaccia!

Crafting authentic Tuscan comfort food and fresh handmade pastas, this cozy Lawrenceville favorite is a staple for a relaxed BYOB night out.

Whether you’re ordering a hot kabab to-go, checking out their incredible selection of Middle Eastern groceries, or looking to cater your next event, Salem’s has it all!

Looking for your next sober hangout spot? This is it! While Butterwood serves incredible cakes all day long, their cozy cafe stays open until 11pm to satisfy all of your late-night cake cravings. Plus, they have great vegan options.

Specializing in creative brunch plates like BBQ pulled pork waffles and classic breakfast combos, this spot is the perfect place to start your weekend morning.

A fish market, a grocery store, a hot food counter, and Andy’s Sushi Bar all make Wholey’s one of the most popular destinations in the Strip.

Art & Culture

Featuring historic Civil War grounds, public tennis courts, and lush green lawns, this relaxed Lawrenceville park is the perfect spot for a casual afternoon outdoors.

Since 1994, Attack Theatre has created bold, immersive experiences by weaving together modern dance, music, and visual artistry. If you’re looking for a fun way to move your body, come check out one of their classes!

The Clemente Museum honors Roberto Clemente, a Puerto Rican Pirates player who advocated for racial equity and the dignity of underserved communities both on and off the field. The museum is hosting Open House events on July 18th and 19th, plan your visit here!

PBT has been dedicated to celebrating the art of ballet in Pittsburgh since 1969. Check out their upcoming performance of Dracula the last weekend in October.

The Pittsburgh Opera is a pinnacle of musical art in Pittsburgh, showcasing incredible singers and dramatic performances. Their next featured opera, La Bohème, runs in October.
